Katarzyna Kolasa

Driven with a passion to improve healthcare, Katarzyna has focused her academic and business career on Health Economics and Outcomes Research working with multiple pricing & reimbursement challenges worldwide for the last 25 years, while holding Regional and Global leadership positions at Astra Zeneca, BMS, Biogen Idec, Lundbeck, GE Healthcare, Straub Medical, BD, AOP Health and the Swedish county council of Kalmar. Most recently, Katarzyna was the Vice President of HEOR Modelling at Parexel heading the global team supporting major pharmaceutical and med tech companies with economic evidence generation for early and late-stage compounds and digital health solutions.

Katarzyna is the founder of the Global Special Interest Group on Digital Health and short courses “The Role of Digital Endpoints in the Value Generation for Health Technologies”, “Methodological Advancements for the Value Assessment of Digital Solutions”,  “Risk-Sharing/Performance-Based Arrangements in Developing Countries” at ISPOR (International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research) where she has also served as an Educational and Health Science Policy Council Member.

Her academic research focuses on advancing methodologies for assessing the value of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and digital health solutions. In addition to a stellar track record of leading over 50 pricing and reimbursement submissions within the EU and participating in more than 50 global economic modeling projects, she also brings extensive experience in real-world data analytics, discrete choice experiments, and managed entry agreements. Co-author of over 50 publications in renowned journals she has also presented her research at over 60 international scientific conferences worldwide.
