Alana Goodman

Alana holds a BA in English Literature from St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire (USA), an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire (USA) where her thesis was written on the impact of virtual reality/augmented reality on patient, caregiver, HCP, and payer education and its effect on patient treatment adherence. She is pursuing her Doctor of Business Administration degree in Strategic Marketing focusing on The Impact Technology has on HCP Engagement During Product Launches: A Multi-Therapeutic Area Retrospective Comparative Analysis of the Effectiveness of Commercial and Medical Affairs in the Life Sciences Industry at National University in San Diego, CA (USA). Alana also has a certificate in Women’s Leadership from Yale University in New Haven, CT (USA), a Launch Excellence certificate from the industry group ACMA, and 9 business and technical certifications in CRM, PromoMats, MedComms, Approved Email, and CLM from Veeva.

In addition to being committed to lifelong learning, Alana joins DC with extensive Commercial and Medical Operations experience at global Life Sciences and MedTech organizations Biogen, Shire (now Takeda), Alexion, argenx, and Baxter where she successfully launched 10 products over a 12-year tenure in various therapeutic areas. Alana brings a breadth of experience in operational excellence focused on data-generating processes and technology. Most recently, Alana was independently contracting, where she focused on working to shift the narrative around content operations to ensure people see the value in creating a comprehensive and collaborative approach to all things content, relying heavily on technology advancements in the industry to develop personalized precision marketing strategies.
